The location of this hotel is truly unique, situated in the middle of a national park and accessible only by boat. Being surrounded by nature and having the opportunity to spot wildlife from the courtyard was a memorable experience. the hospitality provided by the staff was outstanding, from the boat ride to the hotel to the delicious food served during our stay.
One possible downside of staying at this hotel is the lack of WiFi and internet access. While this may not be a problem for some guests who are seeking a break from technology, it can be inconvenient for travelers who rely on internet connectivity.

The resort was designed for an excellent stay, the staff and the food were great, and it's conveniently located near a boat dock, making it the right place for a city trip in Thekkady.

This hotel is located in the middle of the Periyar tiger reserve and wildlife sanctuary, which offers a unique experience for nature lovers. the view from the rooms is breathtaking and the staff is very hospitable and friendly. the food is also outstanding, with a variety of dishes offered.
The lack of internet access and phone reception might be a problem for some visitors. some activities offered may require physical fitness, such as the trek and the bamboo raft trip, so it may not be suitable for everyone.

Guests can access the hotel by taking a boat ride from the main check-in location at KTDC Aranya Nivas resort. the hotel staff is welcoming and helpful, providing information about the surrounding area. the rooms offer beautiful views of the lake and forest, allowing guests to spot wildlife such as bison and deer. the authentic Kerala food served at the hotel is delicious and the hospitality is exceptional.
Maintenance issues were reported, including door and electrical outlet problems, as well as issues with WiFi and cleanliness.
